Understanding CNG Decompression

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is stored in high-pressure vessels at pressures up to 4,400 PSI. For the gas to be used in downstream equipment — turbines, generators, frac spreads, or pipeline systems — that pressure must be stepped down through a controlled letdown process. The M125 PRS manages this pressure reduction with precision, regulating gas from transport pressure down to the specific outlet pressure required by the application.

Dual-Stage Pressure Regulation

The M125 features pressure relief devices at various pressure stages, ensuring safe and controlled gas letdown even during rapid demand changes.
